Coffee's Abode

'Sup! Welcome to my humble abode. I’m Coffee Kindred, but you can call me just Coffee for short. Currently residing in Brooklyn, New York as an illustrator and up-and-coming comic artist! While I don't have much to my name as of yet, I'm always to thrilled to be promoting my artwork with as many people as I can, as well as helping out in communities that often need it. Oh, and just a heads-up, you may come across some silly coffee-drinking hamsters here!

My current passion project is Javalham , a slice-of-life comic about a hamster navigating through life while working at a coffee shop in Boston, that just so happened to be owned by his uncle. While it is comedic and down-to-earth in tone, the main theme of Javalham that I want to convey is discovering one's self-worth and fostering communities. My main inspirations were comics and shows I grew up with, such as Peanuts, Hey Arnold, and mostly black sitcoms such as Fresh Prince and Family Matters. This comic is currently in its 'embryo' stage, and the first chapter should be finished around Q3.
A supplemental mini-comic Beans' Journal is currently ongoing! This comic exists mainly to help myself get accustomed to the Javalham cast and sculpting their character and personalities.
